A Blessed Day

My two co-workers invited me one sunny Wednesday for a lunch at a famous Japanese restaurant near our office. One of these two guys said that he just wanted to taste Japanese foods and compare them to our own local foods. Since I also wanted to taste Japanese foods, I immediately said yes to their invitation. I was excited to taste and see what Japanese menus looked like.

After that sumptuous lunch, a friend of mine from California called me through cellphone and informed that she wanted to meet me and give some new items. I was thinking of a new Ipad or a netbook that would be useful for my part time writing job. But when our meeting time came, she handed me two pieces of promotional notepad with calculator. The items were nice-looking and durable. My friend told me that the items were promotional products made by her company, which has been producing high quality promotional products for many years.

I was very thankful to my friend because even if my expectation was not met, the promotional notepad with calculator has been very useful especially in my work as an office assistant who handles volumes of records. With these items, I can easily jot down all my needed tasks. The calculator serves as a friendly device for computing figures and calculating sales during the end of the day.

It was a precious day for me because a friend of mine cared to offer some items which are very useful for my job. I was praying that someday she will become a successful businesswoman. I really believe that a person who is generous will receive more than what he or she gives to other people. There is always a prize for whatever good things you do here on Earth. Since we are just humans who commit mistakes, giving or sharing your blessings to others will become a fair payment for your wrong deeds.
